Roles: Game Designer, Level Designer and Producer

Like most indie companies, we had to use our resources on the best way possible, assigning multiple roles for each person. Once I joined the project, I realized that the team structure was off. There wasn't any clear goals and the team was going with the flow without planning.

​

I suggested implementing production tools, setting deadlines, agreeing on deliverables and organizing the pipelines, which was very welcomed by the team. I took a step forward and started organized the steps we needed to accomplish until the game shipped and created tasks.

 

On the other end, my day to day job was to iterate on the Level Design by testing the current levels, designing new ones and tweaking some of the gameplay mechanics like the enemies speed, health and waves.​
